New Costly & Dangerous Russia-U.S. Nuclear Arms Race Can be Stopped

Interview with Jeff Carter, executive director of Physicians for Social Responsibility, conducted by Scott Harris

Jeff Carter talks about the dangers inherent in the revival of a U.S.- Russia nuclear arms race, with the U.S. withdrawal from the 1987 INF Treaty, followed by the recent Pentagon test of a once-prohibited intermediate range missile and reports of a deadly accident related to Russian testing of a new nuclear powered cruise missile. He’ll also talk about his group’s advocacy for passage of a “No First Use” policy on nuclear weapons.
